Remember who you are!

God reminded me this week as I looked into the clear water of a pond that I had forgotten who He made me to be. The words of James 1 echoed through my mind.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. James 1:22-24

Don't forget who you are!
You are my daughter! I am your Father!

Go into this new year remembering who you are!

I began to think about this list that I had read about Who I was in Christ!  It made me smile and I began to remember that He had called me by name and has set my feet upon a rock so that I could fulfill His purposes for me. may this list also encourage you to remember.
