The simplest action is to act!

Every moment counts!

My husband and I had dinner at P.F. Changs this weekend. God has such a marvelous sense of humor!  We were having a taste extravaganza in our dinner of lettuce wraps, salt and pepper prawns and schezwan beef. By far this is our favorite place to eat!

Our waiter, Josh was talkative and engaged us in pleasant conversation.  All throughout dinner, I experienced the urging sense that I needed to pray for him. Being the strong evangelist that I am, I said nothing to him! :)

Then when he brought us our fortune cookies, mine said "The simplest answer is to act".
Wow!  Could our Father been any clearer

As Josh approached the table, I simply asked him, "Is there anything we could pray for you about?" He was genuinely taken back by this simple question. His eyes filled with tears  and then he said, "yeah you can pray for me". He began to share with us some health issues that he was experiencing and then in a sweet moment asked, "Can you pray for my mom, she just had surgery?"

Had I stayed in my comfort zone and continued to enjoy my dinner without listening to the gentle nudging and fortune cookie saying. Had I not thought about the person in front of me, I would have missed this opportunity to share the love of Christ with Josh.

Make the most out of every opportunity. Colossians 4:5-6

Father, help me to listen to your direction. Be with Josh and speak to him this day. Remind him of your deep, deep love for him.

As has just been said: "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion." Hebrews 3:15
