Jesus declares that He is, I AM multiple times

I am the bread of life
I am the light of the world
Before Abraham was, I am
I am the door
I am the good shepherd
I am the resurrection and the life
I am the way, the truth, and the life
I am the true vine

John 6: 35, 48 John 8: 12, 9:5 John 8: 58 John 10:9 John 10:11 John 11:25 John 14:6 John 15:1

I Am is the name of God. 

When Moses asked God what shall I say when they ask me, "who sent you?" This is the response God gave him.

God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Exodus 3:14

For Jesus to say that HE was "I Am" was to equate himself fully with God.  He was saying I AM God. I and the Father are one." John 10:30

Many days I do not feel that I am enough! I fall so very short as a

Gardener

etc.

This name of Jesus reminds me that I do not have to be enough because He is!

When I am not satisfied, He is my Bread
When I am in darkness, He is my Light
When I feel small and insignificant, He is my Heritage
When I without a home, He is my Door
When I feel lost, He is my Gentle Shepherd
When I feel dead, He is my resurrection and Life
When need a reminder of my purpose, He is my way
When I feel lied to, He is my Truth
When I feel disconnected, He is my Vine

Prayer
Thank you Jesus for always being more than enough! I worship you as I Am. Fill me with this wonderful knowledge that you are able to direct my life because of who you are.  I surrender my life to you. Amen
