Dec 21 The King

king

What if we had this kind of excitement about seeing Jesus? What if every time we went to worship our hearts and souls exhibited this response to being in the presence of Jesus? What if we treated Him, the coming King with uncontrollable abandon?
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of PeaceIsaiah 9:6

which He will bring about at the proper time–He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,1 Timothy 6:15
“These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.” Revelation 17:14
May these days of preparing for Christmas remind you of the King that you serve.
Prayer
We worship you, our Majesty.  You are due honor and glory for you are the soon and coming King. Thank you for reminding us of who you are. We humble ourselves before you and bow before your throne. May your reign be forevermore in our hearts and in our lives.
