Royal Re-tellers

Kindergarten students are learning how to re-tell a story.  This ability helps children to attend to what has been read.  As children learn to gather information and organize their thoughts about a story, they become more adept at re-telling.   In kindergarten students learn about the setting, the characters, and putting the events of the story in a logical, sequential order.  To make story retelling fun and a successful exercise use predictable , simple stories like;
  • Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do You See?
  • The Three Little Bears
  • The Gingerbread Boy
  • The Three Little Pig
  • The Very Hungry Caterpillar
  • The Mitten
This week we were Royal Re-tellers as we re-told the significant events of a story while wearing a beautiful crown. Feel free to make your own!
As Christians we too are Royal re-tellers!
We have been given the responsibility to keep re-telling the life giving story of redemption, love and forgiveness. Each day we see glimpses of the Savior hard at work to save a hurting, dying world.

 Don't miss the opportunity to share the story of how Jesus has saved and redeemed you.

Who will you share with today?

Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare. Psalm 40:5
