Everything I have learned about prayer, About being in the presence of God and sitting at His feet, I learned from my friend Kathy. She had this way of making our times together in prayer, teachable moments. I am forever grateful for her influence, kindness and love.
Today we celebrate her life, her love, her undeniable adoration of Jesus. Thank you friend for blessing each of us with your kindness and love. I know that you are in the shelter of His wings, in complete and beautiful adoration. There is peace in knowing that one day we will see you again, in the presence of our beautiful Savior.
She taught me that
Forgiveness requires us to be able to ask God to bless that person.
Scripture is alive and we can pray those words back to God.
We can never have enough of The Holy Spirit in our lives, and we can ask for more.
God can and will use us, if we make ourselves available to Him.
There is strength in quietness.
Listening to others is a gift that we can offer them.
There is no distance too far between friends.
I so want to be a person who loves Jesus and people like my friend Kathy. Thank

Jann, your words are so precious. During her illness, I kept thinking about how God uses people in different ways, at different times.
