“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches.
I am the Root and the Offspring of David,
and the bright Morning Star.” Revelation 22:16
From the time that Jesus came to earth a star was significant in representing Him.
“Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” Matthew 2:2
Three times "morning star" is mentioned in the bible.
1) Rev. 2:26-28- We are promised that we will be given the morning star if we are victorious.
2) Rev 22:16: Jesus is called THE “bright morning star”.
The Morning Star is Jesus. We have been given the promise of Jesus himself. He is bright, shining, brilliant, and magnificent!
3) 2 Peter 1:19: And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
The morning star is a light bringer who is a continual light. He is the Shachar (dawn) the one who takes us out of the dark.
The morning star is a light bringer who is a continual light. He is the Shachar (dawn) the one who takes us out of the dark.
Jesus brings to the light anything that is hidden and reveals it. Will you allow Him to shine within your heart and mind and reveal what has been in the dark?
This is not for the fainthearted. Hidden inside are things that we usually don't want to deal with; jealousy, anger, envy, resentment and fears.
