Names of Jesus

Jesus Is my everything!

To some that may sound so immature or weak. To others it resonates because they know of His love and redemption. While I have been studying and reflecting on His names I have been so encouraged because of who He is. 

Years ago when my faith journey began I had to wrestle with the decision to surrender all of my life to Jesus. Daily I must go back to Him and re surrender because I keep taking areas of my life back. Reviewing His names has reminded me that I need to once and for all raise the white flag and unconditionally surrender.

Jesus is constantly beckoning me to come and rest in Him. When I surrender that is what happens. I find rest. 

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30
